Basic training!

I am convinced of the following- Everything flows from prayer! Our lives- everything from our church life and work and pleasure life- should mirror the time that we have spent in the prayer closet. We as Christians are only as powerful as the measure of faith that dwells in us! So if the prayer lines in your life are not set up as they should be then your effectiveness as a Christian will reflect that.

The same is to be said of the word. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God!
How can we expect to be fully flourishing as disciples if we can't even master the basics- WORD AND PRAYER!

Many times we run around trying to find all the spiritual fixes of the day, and perhaps in all that running we undervalue the power and purpose of the prayer meeting and general bible study.
If you've got issues and problems in your life and you're wondering why everything is up and down all the time, consider this- "Is my prayer and word life at the place it should be?"

But here's the deal- if it's not don't beat yourself up and get condemmed. Stand up and get moving as there's always time to get right with God and find the joy and purpose that only He can give you!

Today is a new day. Perhaps it's your day.
